2) After i squeezed my brain, i came out with this idea and sketched it.
I add on some of Malaysian culture which is star and moon from Malaysian flag and turn it into tyre. And also the color of Malaysian flag.3) After that i applied it using adobe illustrator.
a) The first step i used, ellipse tool(L) to make 2 rounded shapes.
b) Then one of the shape i fill it with white in color and place it on top of another shape with the yellow and adjust the position until the shape of moon appeared.
c) I made another rounded shape and apply some effect >> distort & transform >> zig zag and changed size to 45 point and ridges per segment to 6 (14 angle). So the result is a 14 angles of star.

d) Then using pen tool(P) and play with the line to make a simple car shape.

f) Using type on a path tool and click on the line of the ellipse to write the title of the logo which is, SKODA.

g) I changed the base color to blue seems the red one is not that nice and suitable.
h) Using pen tool(P) once again and make a curve line symmetric with the bottom of the ellipse and using type on a path tool click the curve line to write AUTO.

i) Back to the moon, fill the black color to sync the background color of the logo.
j) I put some gradient effect to the star (yellow to black) and arrange everything into the ellipse shape.
k) Finally i finalized the logo, re-scale each objects, changed the font to "earth normal" and also the color (fill and stroke).
And yeahh this is my FINAL RE-DESIGNED LOGO
DESCRIPTION ABOUT THE LOGO
1) According to Ancient and Heraldic traditions much symbolism is associated with colors. The colors on the Malaysian represent the following:
Yellow - the color of the royal family
White - peace and honesty
Red - hardiness, bravery, strength & valour
Blue - vigilance, truth and loyalty, perseverance & justice. The blue field also symbolizes the unity of the Malaysian people
2) And there is 2 symbols which is:-
Star and moon - yellow 14-pointed star both being the traditional symbols of Islam and as we all know the 14-pointed star represent 14 states in Malaysia. And for this symbol I've got the idea from Malaysian flag.

3) Since the logo is knitted to automotive, i came out with the idea of a very simple sketching car and put the moon and star as a tyre.
